   I’ve been to the dermatologist, tried prescriptions, and used plenty of fancy shampoos. Somehow, this simple sulfur shampoo works better than anything else for my scalp.Quick facts about my experience:• Psoriasis control: No itch, no flakes. I wear black constantly, and my shoulders stay snow-free.• The smell: Yes, it smells medicinal. Think “dog shampoo at the vet.” Worth it.• Hair type: I have 3C curls and naturally dry hair. It doesn’t dry my hair out any more than a typical shampoo.• Bonus benefit: The sulfur also helps calm acne around my hairline.• My routine: I use it 6 days a week, then follow with Kérastase conditioner, which makes my hair smell amazing.I’ve been using this shampoo for about 5 years, and it’s still my main one. Once a week, I switch to purple shampoo for my gray, but this is my daily driver.Bottom line:Dermatologist prescriptions didn’t solve my scalp.This did.

   Very refreshing, cooling, and minty
   It feels so nice on scalp. Very cool and the smell is minty and fresh. Gives a good cleanse and my itch goes away after using it. My only issue was itching not dandruff so I cannot comment on the dandruff part. I double cleanse so using this is the second step. The color is ominously blue though.

   Effective for Dandruff But Dries Hair
   I started using this shampoo about few weeks ago after dealing with stubborn dandruff that just would not go away. The product definitely works for clearing up flakes and reducing the itching on my scalp. After just two washes I noticed real improvement which was encouraging.The medicated formula contains selenium sulfide and it does what it claims to do. My scalp feels cleaner and the embarrassing white flakes on my shoulders are mostly gone now. I appreciate that a little bit of product goes a long way so the bottle should last me several months.However, there are some things that keep this from being perfect. The smell is very strong and medicinal. It has that menthol scent which reminds me of being in a pharmacy. While the smell does not linger too much after rinsing, it can be a bit overwhelming during the shower itself.Another issue is that I need to use a good conditioner after every wash because the shampoo can leave my hair feeling a bit dry and stiff. Without conditioner my hair looks dull and feels rough to the touch. I also noticed that my hair seems slightly more brittle than before I started using it.The price is reasonable and the bottle size is decent. I only use it twice per week as recommended and alternate with my regular shampoo on other days. This helps prevent too much dryness while still keeping the dandruff under control

   Effective and Affordable
   Great quality and value for the price. It is effective, gets rid of itchiness and dandruff with a couple times of consistent use. The only cons are the scent is unpleasant and the color.

   Good for oily hair
   I have oily hair and this is one of the few shampoos that don’t leave it worse off. It does work on dandruff and does a good cleaning job with a mild menthol scent.
