Great packaging, great formula, great value â highly recommend
This mascara is really fun to use. It reminds me of a mascara that I loved in college, but which stopped being produced at least 15 years ago. I was able to make my eyelashes look fairly natural, but still defined and darker with a single coat, and without any need to separate clump flashes the way I usually have to, no matter what kind of mascara it is⦠high end, low end, I keep a sewing pin handy at my makeup station so that I can separate my lashes, and I use it every day⦠except for the days when I use this. It doesnât flake off or smudge onto the skin above or below my eyes. It didnât irritate my eyes at all. The pictures included with my review show how it looked after 16 hours of wear, which include included several hours sitting in a room with a broken heater so that I was a sweaty mess for about two of those hours, but I did not need to do any touchup with any variety to keep it looking perfect. But it still came off pretty easily with micellar water. I also really like the packaging, I like that the handle part is longer for easier control, and itâs all solid metal with a pleasant heft. I will for sure be buying this again when I run out.

Doesnât clump at all but was very thin application
PROSThis steel tipped mascara was interesting to try because itâs very different from a standard brush wand. The metal wand is longer than the mascara tube itself and it feels fairly heavy in the hand, which makes it feel more like a tool than a typical mascara. One thing I really liked is that it did not clump at all during application, and it layered nicely without creating that sticky, thick buildup. I can see this working well as a combo product with a lash primer because it adds definition without making things chunky.CONSThe application was so light that I honestly couldnât tell if I was getting much product onto my lashes. I also couldnât really tell whether product was transferring from the bottle to the wand, which made it feel like I had to keep going over my lashes without seeing much payoff. It also didnât do much to curl or lift my lashes, so if youâre looking for noticeable curl or volume in one step, this may feel too subtle.
