   Great product, better customer service!
   I purchased the Air 10 in July. The device was very easy to use, though it was a bit shocking at first to be pulsed with a bright laser. Good thing they provided safety glasses! The treatments were painless and effective. After a month of use much of the targeted areas were hair-free.It was working great until September when the contact sensor started to fail. It would work if I turned it on while holding it against my skin; as soon as I moved it away it would stop working (which is correct) but then wouldn’t work if I put it back against my skin (which is incorrect). After this it needed a full cold reset — unplug power.I contacted Ulike customer service and they responded within a day. They asked me to try a few things, but also offered to send a replacement unit. The replacement arrived within a few days, and works great! They even provided a pre-paid label to return the faulty unit. They also followed up with a phone call to make sure everything was working as it should. Thank you Ulike for standing by your product!

   Great upgrade from the air3!
   I want to start this review by saying how awesome it is when a company has great customer service and truly stands by it’s products and warranty policy. A year and a half ago I got the ulike air3 and loved it. Unfortunately, it stopped working so I contacted ulike since it was still under the 2yr warranty. Their customer service was quick to respond and offered to replace it with the upgraded air10 which I recently received. From my initial contact to receiving my new unit was less than 1wk. That’s honestly the BEST customer service I’ve received in a long time.In regards to the unit itself, there are a few easily noticed changes between the air3 and air10 models. First is the size and shape, the air10 is slightly bigger, but has a much more ergonomic curved shape along with a slightly larger bulb window. I found it more comfortable to hold for larger treatment areas like my legs and thighs than the air3. Another change is the light settings. With the air3, I found I had better results when used in glide mode and allowing 3 flashes before moving the unit, which significantly added time to using it. With the air10, multi-flash is built into the glide setting with the unit emitting 2 quick flashes per move. This definitely is a time saver while increasing the treatment strength. My FAVORITE new feature though is the SHR (stubborn hair removal) mode. SHR uses 4 quick flashes of differing intensity to treat areas with thicker, coaser, stubborn hair growth. My lower legs used to take about an hour with the air3 since multi-flash was not built in and I’d have to occasionally pause the treatment to allow the unit to cool down, with the air10, I completed both legs in 30 minutes using the SHR mode. Game changer! Overall I had great success with the air3 and my legs have about 97% reduction in hair with some some really stubborn small patches, but I can go a month or longer without shaving. My upper lip hairs (moustache area) have about 70% reduction, but I think that’s do to them being finer hairs and there’s still significant visual reduction. I love the air10 will save me a ton of time and I also noticed the unit didn’t get uncomfortably warm when using like the air3 did so definitely have been some upgrades in the heat sink as well. Overall I highly recommend ulike IPL devices.

   Excellent option for home laser hair removal, sun spots and KP
   I am a woman and purchased this to use to make my bikini line and armpits look smoother between shaving. I don’t mind shaving every day, but the little dark spots left behind from the hair roots on my medium light skin were bothersome. I’ve been using this approximately three times per week on SHR mode for the past two months and have absolutely notice a significant difference. The hair roots are less visible and the skin in those areas looks and feels much smoother. I had used it on my face at a lower setting to treat a couple of stray hairs on my jawline, and actually have noticed a reduction in dark spots on my face. That wasn’t why I bought it but it was a very pleasant surprise. I have not used laser hair removal devices before, but this one is quite comfortable and the cooling technology is excellent, as others have said. It has a good design, is easy to use and seems to be excellent quality. I will continue to use this device for maintenance, would absolutely purchase it again and recommend it to others.Update—I’ve used this about 2 times weekly for the past 2 months (after using every other day for the first 2 weeks) and it is working great for bikini line and armpits. Also continues to work great for age/sun spots on my face, despite my dermatologist telling me it probably wouldn’t. For the past 2 weeks I have used this on my daughter’s mild KP which is on the backs of her upper arms and thighs, and it has worked great even after just 4 treatments. I use SHR and glide mode 100% of the time for both of us and while the device gets hot after a while, I have had no functional issues.

   Finally got it after breastfeeding, so worth the wait!
   I had this Ulike IPL hair removal device sitting in my cart for months, but I waited to purchase it because I was breastfeeding my baby and didn’t want to use anything that might interfere with that stage. Now that I’ve weaned my baby, I finally treated myself and I can honestly say it was 100% worth the wait!My aunt had recommended it to me a while ago. She spoke so highly of it, saying it worked wonders for her, and now I completely agree. From the moment I unboxed it, I was impressed by the elegant design and the thoughtful packaging. It comes with everything you need, including safety goggles, a razor, the adapter, and a clear manual.Using it is super easy and painless, and I immediately felt like I was doing something just for me after so many months of focusing on my baby. I’ve been using it on my legs and underarms, and I’m already seeing visible results. The hair is growing back much slower, and my skin feels smoother each week.If you’re a mom waiting for the right time—this is your sign. This device is a game changer!

   i’ve used razor blades for about a decade+ for my arms and underarms every shower. every 2 days, hair just sticks out and makes me super self-conscious, so i hide it with long sleeves even in the summer.say that i buy those expensive packs of razor blades ($50~60AUD) every 8 months. that’d mean i have bought up to at LEAST $750~900AUD worth of razor blade cartridges since i started shaving. not to account the prices that go up and down! with this purchase, im making sure that i dont need those anymore!i have been using this on my arm and underarm since the 18th of august, in a routine of using it every 2 days. 1 month later as to writing this (23rd of september), i just noticed that there hasnt been any noticeable growth!! im excited about the results! i’ll move on to using this on my legs soon, and i can’t wait!at first, it hurt using it in certain areas like the back of my hand or lower parts of my underarm.. even in normal mode. however nowadays, i consistently use SHR (super hair removal) for my underarms. back of the hand still hurts, but i definitely got used to it! lightly flick your finger onto the back of your hand, that’s how it feels. it just seems like it hurts more because of the intense flash of lightit works just as intended and gets results in just as promised!i hate my body hair, so this purchase is the best i’ve ever done.MAKE SURE TO WEAR THE INCLUDED GLASSES!!
